Back to my routine

My daughter's winter break is over. Once again I'm back to my everyday routine. I got up at 6:00a.m., did Yoga, got both kids up, fed them and so on..... It was tough waking up this morning, but I'm sure I'll get used to it by this Friday. At least my 11 months old baby still takes a morning nap and afternoon nap. Her nap time gives me plenty of time for me to do stuff. Well, I better get going and do some laundry........

My Etsy Store!!!!

I've opened a brand new Etsy store. I've been kind of busy making necklaces and origami while my little one is sleeping. Take a look below and see what you think. I would like to hear my readers' comments about my creations. Thanks!

Volunteering

Tomorrow is Cranberry Day at my daughter's Kindergarten. I am going to volunteer at her class. I am kind of excited about it. I think they will be doing tons stuff.  My daughter is looking forward to tomorrow just because I am going to be there at her class  Since I am there to help out, I hope that my daughter does not get too clingy to me. My husband will be working at home and will be taking care of our 9 months old. I hope that he doesn't get too many conference calls. I am only going to be gone for 1.5 hrs, so hopefully he can manage his work and taking care of our little one.

It's Friday!

Yes, it's Friday! I am so happy.   I was looking forward to this day. I can finally sleep in late tomorrow. My oldest is happy as well because every Friday is a special day for her. We let her stay up late and let her watch her favorite TV shows.

Anyways, I also want to share some freebies I found. I've already tried them myself and received products in my mail. Follow the links below and enjoy:

Monday

Here comes Monday again! I always feel tired on Mondays..... Ever since my daughter started her kindergarten, I've been waking up at 6:30a.m. My daughter's bus does not come until 8:30a.m., but it takes her forever to get ready. I am getting used to 6:30a.m., but I still wish that I can sleep in until 8:00a.m.

Tomorrow, my youngest one is turning 9 months old. Yeah! I am taking her to the Doctor's office today to get her 9 months check up. She has been crawling, standing with holding on to things and so on. My goal/wish is for her to be able to walk by Christmas, if not by her 1st birthday. My oldest started to walk when she was 10 months old, so I am really hoping that little one will do the same. I can't keep carrying my little one with my body aches and pains that I am feeling everyday. Gosh, I am starting to sound really old.......

It's cold out!

in

My husband usually takes my oldest to the bus stop, but today I decided to do it. Oh my, it was so cold out. This is just a beginning and I am not looking forward to the snow season. I had my gloves on and everything. I wish I can get a way to the tropical island. Anyway, I have been very busy with my freelance work and online money making stuff. It is hard to manage my work with a little baby at home, but I am trying my best to keep my clients happy. I can't wait for my youngest one to start going to school in the future......

Save money & Earn Money online!

I've been saving tons of money using Ebates.com and BigCrumbs.com. These two money saving sites are legitimate! Getting sick....

Oh my, I really have been busy taking care of my two kids...  My 5 year old came home sick from school the other day. Runny nose, cough and so on. Thank God she has no fever though. My oldest one always get sick first. Now my little baby girl is also catching a cold and so as my husband. I am starting to feel tired... I might be getting sick soon as well..... This is just draining. Wish me luck that I do not catch a cold. Thanks!

More time.....

Oh my, I have been neglecting this blog for a long time. Ever since my second daughter was born, my life have turned up side down. When she turned 3 months old, I thought that my life was getting better but then she got sick, very sick. She ended up having lymph node infection on her neck and was in hospital for 1 week back in May. She has gone through neck surgery to drain the abscess from her infected lymph node and also got her

tongue tie

fixed. I was with my little one in the hospital room for 24/7. It was tough being with a sick child. She is almost 6 months old now and growing up so fast with no problems. I am starting to have more time to do stuff while she takes her afternoon naps. I am hoping that I can get back to my blogging, freelance work and all of the other stuff I used to to before..... Wish me luck.

The Baby Grands CD

I had an opportunity to listen to the CD of The Baby Grands today. The Baby Grands is a musical trio based in Atlanta. Their members are Donn Todd, Ben Rowell and Marc Castelo. These guys came up with cool songs that are fun for both kids and adults. It is not the typical children's CD that drives parents crazy during a long car ride. I was listening to this CD with my daughter in my car and was pretty pleased with the music. My two daughters and I enjoyed listening every song that was on the CD. Our favorite song so far is called “Sugar Makes Me Logo”.

These guys are parents themselves so I think they really captured what other parents were looking for in children's music. The Baby Grands songs are fun & inspirational. I highly recommend this CD to the other moms and dads out there. If you would like to hear some samples, visit www.thebabygrands.com!  In addition, a portion of The Baby Grands' CD profits will go towards organ donor organizations. I hope that everyone enjoys The Baby Grands as much as I do! Enjoy

It's a Girl!

Yes, it's a healthy baby girl!  My baby girl was born on Tuesday, February 10, 2009. She weighed 7 lb. 1 oz. and 21 inches long. I wanted to write about my baby right away on this blog, but I was not able to do anything due to a spinal headache that was caused by my epidural during the delivery.  I had an extra procedure done called an epidural blood patch one day after the delivery to correct the problem. I was also told by my anesthesiologist not to do much for a few days after this procedure was done. The epidural blood patch was very painful, but it was an instant fix for my headache. It was worth having the procedure done. I never want to experience that headache again. My oldest daughter has been very happy having her little sister around and she has been a big helper for both me and my husband. My oldest became sick 2 days after my baby and I came home but she is recovering and getting well. With the oldest being sick and us taking care of our new baby, our household has been going crazy. Overall, we are quickly adjusting to our new life. It's been 12 days since my baby was born and I am finally starting to feel like I have more energy to do stuff.

10 days to go

My gosh, I only have 10 more days to go until my due date. I never thought that this day would ever come. For those of you who have been sending me emails, I am truly sorry for not replying..... I have been very sick with this pregnancy and I just can't keep up with the amount of email that I receive each day. Two weeks ago, I basically failed my non-stress test and I was sent right to the hospital for extra monitoring. Thank God that there was nothing wrong with the baby and I was released within 2 hours. I am still battling with anemia & gestational diabetes and I just can't wait this whole pregnancy to be over. Wish me luck everyone for me to have a healthy baby soon. Thanks!

Happy New Year! 2009

in

It's a little early, but I just want to wish everyone a happy new year! I have been so sick for several weeks and was not able to write anything on this blog. Today is one of my better days. Ever since I went into my third trimester, I have been very nauseous..... I feel like I am on the ship all day long. Yuck! My in-laws are visiting tomorrow so I am in full speed today trying to clean this house. I still have tons of laundry to do as well  I've been up since 5a.m. and my body is almost ready to shut down. I hope I can get everything done by early tomorrow afternoon. Wish me luck!

Keeping up with diabetes.......

I'm starting to get frustrated with keeping up on my daily 4 times a day gestational diabetes monitoring. Every time I poke my finger with a needle, it hurts! I have to always remember when I ate my last meal so that I can measure my blood sugar exactly at 2 hours after the meal. I have to do this for another 8 weeks and 3 days I can't even pig out to whatever I want because that will cause my blood sugar level to rise and it will make me feel bad. I hate being pregnant! I keep telling everyone including my husband that I will never ever get pregnant again!!!!!!!! I can't wait for this baby's arrival!!! Wish me luck. Thanks.

Sears Heroes at Home program

This holiday season Sears is offering a special program called the Sears Heroes at Home program. This program is to support and to fulfill the wishes for military families. It is located at Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry. Many military families have signed up and each family has their own story to tell about their needs.

My brother was in the Army a few years ago. He was deployed to Iraq so I understand what most military families are going through during the holiday season. Its hard not having their loved ones home. Thankfully, my brother came home safe. I know there are many more American troops out there who will be missing this holiday season with their loved ones. I think that this is a great opportunity for me or anyone out there to help out our heroes who are working hard for our country.

These military family members are not asking for much. Some are asking for a Christmas tree for their kids or kids' shoes, clothing and so forth. There are currently 30,583 military families that we can help just by simply donating at Sears online website. It is a great time to show our "thanks" to our troops and their families. Let's make a difference this holiday season by supporting our military families by visiting  Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry.

Snow heading our way!

in

I just woke up and checked the forecast for our area.... Well, it looks like that snow is heading our way today. We are also getting a severe weather alert!!!! My daughter & my dogs will be so thrilled to play in the snow but I'm not really looking forward to it. I like snow but I've got so many problems with this pregnancy so I won't be able to go out with my daughter to play..... My husband will be taking her out today. Oh well, I'll just watch them by the window.

A great digital communication services deal

Banner__bf08_300x250_google

Are you frustrated with your digital services? Do you think you are paying too much? Charter Communications Services is running a great black friday bundled offer for all your digital services for under $166 a month.

With the new bundled services, you get premium internet speed, premium TV services and unlimited phone service. Its a great buy. Additionally, they are throwing in a free $250 gift card if you sign up soon. When you sign up, you are entered into a free X-box sweepstakes contest. One in every 45 people win a free X-box but everyone gets the free $250 gift card. If you consider the value of the gift card, they are basically throwing in a month and a half for free.

Personally, I know that I am paying more than this for my internet and TV bundle with AT&T. The AT&T package doesn't even come with telephone included. For me, thats an extra $31 extra with my VOIP package. The Charter package is definitely one of the best priced packages around with everything you need.

For me, the most important thing offered is the 10 mbit of high speed internet. That is blazingly fast compared to my previous DSL package. Its on par with the current offering I have today.

The TV has a lot of bundled extras including HDTV, sports and all the premium channels. I don't personally watch the extra channels but the HDTV option is very cool. I am looking forward to HDTV in our almost finished basement.

Check out Charter Communications Ultimate package if you are in the Charter area. Its definitely one of the best priced packages available.
